Knowledge of the OSI and TCP/IP networking model

Knowledge of the IPv4 packet header structure

Basic knowledge of IPv4 Addressing, Link-layer address resolution and Multicast

Articulate the reasons why deploying IPv6 is critical to the growth of the Internet
Identify the different types of IPv6 addresses and their use cases
Describe how EUI-64, semantically opaque and pseudo-random interface identifiers are generated
List how IPv6 differs from IPv4 at a packet level
